Fiji Chapter Wins Hopkins and International Awards
Both on campus and through the iInternational Fraternity, the Hopkins Beta Mu Chapter has been receiving awards and praise for their involvement and outstanding improvement on campus, especially in academics.
Current senior and 2008-2009 president Andrew Farber-Miller ‘10 received the Hopkins Outstanding Greek Junior Award for fraternity members. Farber-Miller served not only as Beta Mu president but also as a Varsity Basketball player. The chapter also received Most Improved Chapter Grade Point Average honors at Hopkins
Additionally, Hopkins Fijis were awarded the 2008-2009 Owen Cup for most Improved Scholarship among Fiji's 110 International Chapters. The Owen Cup was established by the Nu Omega Chapter at the University of Oklahoma in 1936 and memorializes Frederick B. Owen (Missouri 1903), who introduced the idea of chapter-house tutors to the fraternity world. The Owen Cup is awarded to the international Fiji chapter demonstrating the greatest improvement in scholarship from year to year.
$500 Academic Achievement Scholarships
Every year, Phi Gamma Delta awards $500 scholarships to brothers who earn a 3.0 or higher GPA during their pledge semester. Please contact us for more information concerning this scholarship opportunity at oriolefiji@gmail.com.

-Over 100 Phi Gam graduates joined us for Homecoming weekend and participated in 2009 Pig Dinner and Islander. Click here for Pictures
-2010 Spring Rush was successful! Congratulations and thanks to all of you who participated.
-February 28th Tailgate Over 40 Fiji Brothers and Graduate Brothers showed up for the Tailgate Party prior to the Lacrosse Face-Off Classic at M&T Bank Stadium. It was just as cold and windy as last year's tailgate, but the result of the game was, unfortunately, different. Hopkins dropped one to Princeton, 14-8.
-Great Turnout for the March 5th New York Happy Hour. The Beta Mu Graduate Happy Hour in New York City was extremely successful, bringing 28 Beta Mu Graduate Brothers together for good times at Stitch Bar and Lounge in NYC. Please see pictures of the event by clicking here. We are planning to have another Happy Hour this summer and/or fall.
